We offer a large variety of classes in an individual or small group setting.
Conversational Classes
Conversational classes introduce the students to the German “Alltagssprache” (every-day speech).
Up-to-date materials help to gain language knowledge in the context of modern German daily life and its cultural expressions.
Classes are hands-on, interactive, uniquely tailored to the needs of the students, and help from the beginning to engage actively in the language.
All language skills, speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar, are taught and practiced focusing on the conversational part.
Children | Teenager | SprachMobil for Native Speakers
The ‘SprachMobil’ program (K-High School) for children and teenagers at a native or near-native speaker level helps support your efforts to keep your native language alive in your family and to keep your child in close contact with his or her cultural heritage.
Our holistic, age appropriate approach employs stories, music, games and activities geared towards improving speaking, writing, listening, reading and grammar skills in a creative and interactive manner.
In addition, celebrating and learning about major holidays and traditions create a connection to the cultural background of the students and their families.
Additional long and short term courses are offered to prepare for relocation to a German speaking region and integration into a local school as well as test preparation needed to study in Germany.
Children | Teenager | German as a Foreign Language
In our children and teenager program, we give individualized care to each student's spontaneous and uninhibited behavior through the active exploration of specialized and carefully selected materials. Entertaining dialogues, short narrations, phonetic drills, picture-cued exercises, songs, and games engage the younger children in an interactive and fun approach.
We are using the latest language programs imported from Germany to teach older children age-appropriate and fun.
Classes are small and adjusted to each student's individual needs. Multi-media materials and enthusiastic teachers ensure a joyful and engaging learning experience.
Our curriculum distinguishes between various age groups from K-high School.
Sprache + Kunst
Language learning joins arts and crafts in this class to create a joyful learning experience for your child. While conversing in German, the children work on various creative projects in different media. Integrated storytime puts a particular focus on the language component.
Test Preparation
We offer long and short-term test preparation for children, teenagers, and adults for the AP, DSD 1, DSD 2, DaF A1 - C2, and IB exams.
Experienced teachers, carefully selected materials, a private setting, or a small group class facilitate an efficient and focused preparation for the exam.
Tutoring
After an initial exploratory consultation, we create a uniquely tailored tutoring program based on carefully selected materials specifically tailored to each student's profile and language needs.
Book Club
Beginner through advanced speakers: Join one of our book clubs, improve your language skills, and get introduced to the world of literature from the German-speaking world.
Business German
This multi-media course is geared for language learners focusing on interacting in the German-speaking business world.
The course teaches all language skills as well as grammar based on job-oriented vocabulary. Information on cultural aspects helps to adapt with more ease to the new workplace and facilitates a deeper understanding of the business culture in a German-speaking environment.
